Hello everyone, my name is Jenny (aka Sassy Looks).  I am a Freelance Makeup Artist/Licensed Esthetician currently based in, but not limited to San Antonio, TX.  I was Born and raised in the US, in RI, but I have traveled to CT, MA, VT, NH, ME and NY for work.  In 2009 I relocated to WA and worked with numerous artists in Tacoma and Seattle, and Before moving here to TX, I was living in Zama-Shi, Kanagawa Japan for three years. 

Starting at the age of 13, I was always trying to find excuses to do someone's makeup, whether it be for a school dance, or just a night out (or in) with the girls.  Right after I graduated high-school in 1999, I attended The Warwick Academy of Beauty and Culture, taking Cosmetology.  A year later I married love of my life and gave birth to my beautiful daughter Charlotte Rose. 

In 2001, after taking a small break to start my family, I went on to work freelance promotional jobs for MAC and L'Oreal.  I have done numerous weddings, proms and special events.  In 2005 I expanded into the fashion industry to help build my portfolio and I have found that I have a great love for anything glam/fashion, to me that's the fun stuff!  I am a pretty open minded girl, which allows me to be available for all types of work!

To build up my training, In 2009 I attended and graduated from Empire Beauty School in Providence RI from the Masters Esthetics program (900 hrs).  The course included a one week extensive class with Celebrity MUA Orlando Santiago (best week of my life!!). 

I would like to take this time to say thank you to my husband, as he has been nothing but supportive of my journey with makeup.  We have gone through a lot in the past 15 years, and it just keeps getting better.  Seven years ago my husband signed on to be a Medic in the US Army.  It was a tough choice, but with the economy on a downward spiral, it was necessary to keep his family supported and allow me to continue to peruse my dreams as a makeup artist.  Going through our first yearlong Deployment to Afghanistan in 2009, was one of the hardest things I have ever had to endure as a wife, but I have learned that we can make it through just about anything together!!  I love you baby .

My daughter Charlotte is now 14, but has dabbled with modeling all her life but six years ago she decided to take things to the next level and has been heavily perusing a modeling career.  You can see her in my "Children/Tween" Album. 

**Why You Should Work with Me ***

My specialties include... Beauty (Stage 1 and 2), artistic/dramatic looks, pinup/period looks, high fashion, and anything glam.  My techniques are vast and I am able to create many beautiful looks through the use of my tools.

I use a Top of the Line foundation (Face Atelier) in all of my shoots.  To me, my base is the most important part of the makeup application... everything else just sort of, falls into place after that.

**HAIR** I am very experienced with Hair of all types, I am available for updo's, high fashion and light hairstyling.  I carry top of the line hairstyling products and tools with my kit, and will provide hair services for an additional fee.

**TRAVEL**  I can and will travel, anywhere, as long as expenses are paid.

**TRADE SHOOTS**  I am not completely opposed to trade shoots, as we always must update our books… BUT, having been in the industry for over 10 years now, I am very picky about the work that goes into my book.  That being said, you may ask, but please understand if I kindly decline. 

**PHOTOGRAPHERS:**  If we set up a trade shoot, it is because I really want to have your work in my portfolio.  I am probably all sorts of excited, and can't wait to see the images that we created together, so I ask you to Please be nice and deliver the images to me in a timely manner.  I understand that editing takes time, but a month or more and I will start to get antsy, and your phone will probably be ringing off the hook, lol.  Thank you in advance to those of you who work just as hard as I do .
