About Me

I am updating this page. There is more info at IMPORTANT INFO / MORE PHOTOS LINK ABOVE. WHEN YOU GET TO THE LINK PAGE, GO TO THE "INFO"/PROFILE SECTION, IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY THERE. (It's a lot to wade through, so grab a cup of coffee!)

Just a couple of quick points: I work as a travel agent. Modeling is not my life. It is not a career path for me. I enjoy it, and I think I'm pretty good at it, but it is not my sole reason for existing. Therefore, I am very selective about whom I work with, the poses I will strike, and the outfits I will model. Briefly, however, I keep it tasteful!

Friend Requests: Please do not misunderstand my accepting your friend request or me asking for your friendship as an implicit desire to work with you. Maybe I do, but then again maybe I don't. When I have some free time (which is rare), I might surf around MM looking at others work, getting ideas, and if I run upon a page of someone's work that I admire, I may ask for a FR simply because I do like their work. Nothing more, nothing less. If I would like to work with you, believe me, I'll ask. And if you want to work with me, send me more than a tag or a picture comment. Email me here at MM. Asking never hurts!

Nevertheless, I am looking for compensated work, primarily. The compensation may be in the form of payment, tearsheets, or other. I will consider TFCD very selectively. My rates are reasonable. I feel that I am able to bring qualities to a photographic session that many models may not possess, i.e., my hair, of course, but my ability goes beyond the superficial. Therefore, it is only fair that I be paid for my time and efforts. After all, many photographers are making a profit from the images, so shouldn't the model be compensated as a collaborator of the images? Believe me, I am not opposed to shooting for fun and experimentation, if I have the time. But when it is obvious that the photographer is shooting with the intention of marketing the work, then I do believe the model should be compensated with more than a CD. Fair's fair, right?

Available for: - Print - Film - Commercial - Catalog - Spokesmodeling - Hosting - Events - Trade Shows

If I had a nickel for every time I've been told to specialize than I'd . . . well . . . I'd have a lot of nickels (-: Seems that many believe that I should not do general modeling, but that rather I should focus on '50s Retro/Rockabilly/Pinup type shoots. Ok, advice noted! So if you have work available in this area, let me know. I might also consider Gothic/Horror ideas and Experimental/Advant Garde/Alternative ideas, too. I am not interested in blatant nude modeling, nor am I interested in working on fetish or porn-related sessions.

I have no tattoos or piercings.

~My current rates are as follows: 30/hour/clothed 2/hour minimums. 125/day rate for 5 hours + 40/each additional hr . . . 40/hour/implied (select photographers only) 2/hour minimum. 150/day rate for 5 hours + 50/hour for each additional hr. Driving over 1 hour for a shoot requires gas/travel. For my experience and assets, I consider my rates very reasonable.

Also, I am so very grateful for everyone who expresses a desire to work with me, but I do get a lot of requests such as "I would love to do something with your hair. I don't know what, but . . .". This has even happened a couple of times when I arrived on site for a shoot. The photographer had no plan, only vague, wispy ideas. Let your imagination run wild, visualize all kinds of ideas, but know where you want to take the session so that you are not wasting time for either one of us. Know, however, that I have no desire to cut, dye, or put any straightening chemicals in my hair.

FYI: I have been working hard on my travel agent career lately and traveling a lot in conjunction with that career, so I haven't had much time for a photo shoot, but you should know that my hair is now VERY LONG! It is ankle length, at the moment.
