Coming from the world of visual effects/post production, I use photography as a getaway from the mundane. With the many steps required to create an image in a virtual environment, it almost feels like I'm cheating just by taking a photograph. It gives me more time to look around & compose a shot rather than worry about the technicalities. Though I'm still learning the art of photography, I hope to refine my skills through practice, experimentation, & input from other fellow photographers. Anyway, I hope this meets the hundred-character minimum...
