Sparkles Hill is a senior stylist with 11 years of experience in the hair care industry.  Originally from Flint, MI, Sparkles was inspired to make women beautiful by her Mother who was considered at the time as a fashion icon.  At the age of 14, Sparkles began styling hair for her family, neighborhood friends and classmates.  Realizing her potential, Sparkles obtained her Associates Degree in Business as well as her Cosmetology License in 1997.
In 1998, Sparkles moved to Charlotte where she started out as a freelance make-up artist for Bobbi Brown and Mac Cosmetics.  While honing her cosmetology skills she trained at the Paul Mitchell Academy from 1999-2002.  During this time she traveled within the Paul Mitchell Company and became a national trainer.  Along with her training with the Paul Mitchell Company, Sparkles was a presenter at various hair shows and most notably the prestigious International Hair World Show.  In 2001, Sparkles began styling at Modern Salon and subsequently became an educator for the company.  While working for Modern Salon, Sparkles has styled hair for the Carolina Panthers Top Cats, AIDS Benefit Shows, Dell Curry Fundraiser for Battered Children, the Charlotte Observer Make Over Story, and Save the Planet Earth Movements.  Sparkles has styled hair on location for photo shoots featured in Elevate Magazine, Premier Bride Magazine, Charlotte Taste, Debutante Magazine Up and Coming Spring Edition, Blu Magazine and the Modern Salon & Spa Christmas ads.   
In addition to her creative years of experience styling hair, Sparkles has conducted fashion shows such as the Bridal Show at Peninsula Yacht Club, Blu Fashion Show, Modern Salon & Spa Runway Fashion Shows, Roof with a View Earth Month Fashion Show, Fashion Week Runway at Ed Hardy, Offspring Aveda Hair Show, and My Black is Beautiful. 
Sparkles has a passion for hair styling and hair care as her diverse portfolio represents.  Sparkles’ creativity is a gift that she shares with many women and men in the Charlotte community through her artistry.  Sparkles plans to continue teaching, styling and traveling around the country as a celebrity stylist while creating beautiful hair in the Charlotte community.
