About Me

Hello! My name is Nick Swanson, I am a photographer based in Durham, NC. I have had 10 years of portrait photography experience and have a fine arts degree in digital photography as well.
Over the years I have traveled all over the world photographing, from Thailand, Japan, and Canada, to Afghanistan as a photojournalist. While I do shoot real estate photography and fine art, my forte is portraits.
I have worked with quite a few brands for fashion photography as well such as Roxy, Pakaloha Bikini, Octopus Ink Clothing Co., and many more.
Model Mayhem is my outlet for creative photography and as such, I would rather do shoots that are beneficial to the model as well as myself, therefore most of my photography sessions from here would be free.
