As a child I was always quite and not the prettiest girl in my class. I got made fun of a lot because of these things. But. to be truthful, I was probably one of the prettiest girls in the class because of my personality. I got in high school and stopped caring about what people thought about me as much. I was asked as a Junior to model for a photographer for her advertisement and I did. From that moment on, I knew that I did not have to be drop dead gorgeous to model but to be expressive through my eyes and smile and the way I posed myself in my portraits. I have always loved the art of photography. There is so much to see through the lens. I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with a dear friend and photographer and he has used my pictures as advertisement as well. It is fun and exciting doing these shoots. In my pictures above, he did not touch up anything but the eyes a little. To be able to be a member of Model Mayhem is a privilege because it is a well known company. I am looking forward to opportunities in the modeling world.
