When I was younger, the band Bread had a song called “If”. The beginning lines to this song were as follows: “If a picture paints a thousand words …” My wife tells me that I have always been able to find beauty in all things and in all people. I am just now beginning to learn how to capture that beauty through the lens of a camera. I want to be able to paint a thousand words with my photographs.

I am a musician, so the thought of being involved in the visual arts was something that I had never given much thought to. Recently I was laid off from my (real) job, which enabled me to spend more time with one of my favorite hobbies … photography. I had posted a few of my pictures on Facebook and Flickr, which seemed to create an influx of “will you do a shoot for me” type of requests. Some of these requests came with the demand of “we would like to see a broader portfolio”. I've produced a little income with some of my shoots, it would be awesome to be able to turn my hobby into a larger source of income. I bet you would like to do the same!

I have some experience in event photography, freelance or street photography, nature and architectural photography, (samples of these shots are available by request). What I don’t have is experience working with “models”. That’s where I need you. I need someone who will help me expand my portfolio. Someone who can help me grow as a photographer and as an artist. Could that person be you? If you are willing to do a TFCD shoot or two, I would love the experience. Please write me with your ideas for shoots and I will do my best to facilitate your needs. I am willing to travel to you (up to 100 miles) for the right shoot!
I am well known in my community with several references at your request. I would love the opportunity to work with you, learn with you and express with you.
