About Me

Fully Vaccinated: 1/28/2021

...there's an excellent chance that if black is your favorite color - i'll be your new best friend...

...sometimes geek, sometimes musician, lately full-time photographer...wait - scratch that - I went back to a soul-sucking job working for the man.

i'm a professional artistic photographer that is inclined towards dark, back alley, urban shots.

you shouldn't be suprised that:

- a faint smell of phenidone and sodium thiosulfate lingers around me
- i wax rhapsodic about why b&w film is better
- i look at you for three minutes between shutter clicks
- i take more than two weeks to get your images to you - it's film after all

Escorts welcome - especially if they can hold a reflector. :-p

Credit Notes

"Has substantial cleverness and strength..."

          - Kim Jong Un

"Mostly harmless"

          - Douglas Adams

"As far as portraits go ... this is perfect ... But, then again, this deviant has portraits down pat. He's also very good about suggesting film/developers as well. wink"

          - Chris Weeks - AP, Reuters, WireImage photographer

"Timothy Nolan is a pretty pretty princess."

          - Natasha Fatale

"Timothy is the first photographer I ever truly bonded with. The first one to ever make an impact on not just my professional life, but my personal life as well. He showed me that it was entirely possible to have my own feelings in a photograph, and to make it beautiful through his lens. His work is proof that a certain elegance is still alive and well in the world of photography. A tender, exquisite elegance with a dark side, much like the dames of noir that he so aspires to shoot. You could never regret shooting with him, or the images that come from a shoot with him."

          - Miss Alison

"Timothy is a cracked polystyrene man..."

        - Thom Yorke

"Timothy Nolan finds those subtle qualities in personalities and forms that are so often overlooked; highlights them through his lens, and draws it all together into a timeless portrait. Working with him reminded me of my own sense of elegance and looking at his work always leaves me with the impression of dark poetry at it's best..."
