I examine life with my cameras, looking for what I call cracks in reality.  I document alternative life styles, work in portraiture and explore erotic states of mind.

I'm new to Model Mayhem but have been a serious art oriented photographer for almost my entire life.  Currently, I'm completing two book projects, one consisting of nude or semi nude portraits, the other a multi-year study of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, both elegant black and white studies.

I am seeking subjects with an exotic or unusual look, perhaps with a facial beauty mole, for example.  To me, it's fascinating how flaws can be a catalyst for beauty.  Models should have an exhibitionist bent, but not be a hardened professional with cliche poses.  When I work with someone, it's a true collaboration.

If we work in black and white I typically pay with about 6-8 signed 8x10 silver based prints (yes, I actually still shoot with film and print in a darkroom), and you must sign a model release. You will receive a CD of all images if we work in color.  This will be worth much more than I could afford to pay you, and may become the bedrock of your portfolio.

I specialize in black and white, but love to work in color as well.
Most Importantly, I'm looking for models/subjects that are terribly and beautifully alive.

If you aren't interested in my book projects and don't have any edgy leanings, I am also available for hire.  I have very reasonable rates and I'm available for fashion work and musician/band promotional shoots.  My work is 100% guaranteed.  You love it or else we will re-shoot.
