About Me

Thomas Ruppel is an avid photographer. His passion is in particular the available light photography, so photography in low light conditions, the street photography and photographing people.

The penchant for photography for unusual lighting conditions, such as at dusk, at night or early in the morning discovered Thomas Ruppel in workshops at the photographer Meike Fischer. The special challenges of this "dark hobbies" Thomas Ruppel particularly irritate. By exceptional working hours it can also combine perfectly with work and family life.

The photo series "Gloomy Frankfurt" 2008 was shown in the virtual showroom of the Internet portal "straßenfotograf.de".

The series' impressions at Night "was shown in October and November 2010 in the Gallery in the lobby of City Hall Eschborn.
