Photography for Art. Reason. Purpose.

I've been doing photography for six years now. Astrophotography forced me to get a good camera. Now I have several cameras.

I shoot bugs, landscapes, and flowers, but cannot let go of my conviction that the most beautiful images on earth are of people.

People are far from benign, but I like to think still images give us a moment to pause and wrap our ideals around our bodies.

I am interested in photography that makes a statement, and that's hard to do. Think of the brilliant guerrilla-style surprise of Banksy (see the movie "Exit Through the Gift Shop" and http://www.banksy.co.uk/newoutdoors/index1.html), and that's the direction I am leaning - conveying an important message in an unexpected way.

I am currently recruiting for:

- b&w nudes resting in large tree stumps

- a campaign on corporate rights vs corporal rights

- a top-secret gas guzzler protest project

- some 3D development work

I'm a pretty relaxed guy, so stylewise, I'm not going to coach a model like a drill sergeant. I do take what I'm doing very seriously, because I really want to create an image that you love, and to show you in a different light that gives you a pleasant surprise - to increase the love you have for yourself, because you are beautiful.

I am also totally open to your creative input. My vision going into a shoot is not particularly strict - these things always evolve anyway - so if you have a vision, let's work together to make it happen.
