I'm a freelance Makeup Artist, trained by the Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry. I've been doing makeup professionally in south Florida since 2004. I'm super nice, but I'm a very professional and reliable person who shows up on time and stays focused, and I expect the same from anyone I work alongside.

Having recently moved to the Naples area, I'm looking to make new contacts (and hopefully, new friends).

TEST/TRADE SHOOTS

I'm no longer doing test shoots. If you are considering hiring me, my portfolio showcases my talent and I can provide you with NUMEROUS references that will attest to my professionalism and work ethic. Trade shoots I will only CONSIDER, if I believe there is potential for actual work following the collaboration, OR if the theme/photographer/model take my breath away. Realistic speaking, I joined MM to network, yes, but this is my livelihood. If you don't want to pay for my services, there are plenty of other makeup artists on MM who will work for free. That said, I do offer MM discounts which vary, depending on job location and time.

FROM ONE PROFESSIONAL TO ANOTHER

I understand that my job as a Makeup Artist is to present a model who looks flawless as possible, in order to create less work for the photographer(s). I always arrive on-location EARLY to set up my station, and am cordial and professional in manner. As this is criteria I'm sure you expect of me, there are things I expect from you, also.

Photographers ...

My portfolio needs are often times different from yours, therefore I'd prefer to select my own images. I generally request 2-4 high resolution images per look, which must be provided by email within 3-4 weeks of the project completion, unless other arrangements have been made. If timing is an issue, you are more than welcome to provide high res, unedited JPEGS which I am happy to retouch myself. (I have a background in Marketing & Graphic Design, so this isn't a problem, and I guarantee your work will be reflected positively.)

Models ...

Please be professionally courteous and arrive on time with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Be sure that your face is makeup-free ("night before" mascara, especially), and that your brows have been groomed. Most importantly, DO NOT touch, "fix" or alter the makeup in any way once I've finished my job. I correspond in advance with whoever's organizing the shoot/hiring for the job, in order to perfect the makeup style they require ... Your "corrections" disturb that perfection and are as insulting to me as if I were standing behind the camera instructing you on how to pose.
*If there's something you're not happy with, by all means, feel free to talk to me about it and I'll fix it to the best of my ability. =)

IMPORTANT: I keep the contact information of all models and photographers I work with, and providing you are courteous and professional, I am happy to recommend/consider you for future PAYING jobs. (I head the Marketing department for a cosmetic brand ... Shoots come up frequently.)
