This is Me from Then to Now

My name is Noelle Sukow and I have had an obsession with makeup since the age of 6. I loved watching my mom get dolled up on Saturday nights before she goes out, its the only time she would let me play with her makeup. Over 20 later my 2 year old daughter is already starting to play with my makeup brushes. She loves pretending to put on blush, with her big fluffy brush.

I feel that being a makeup artist is like being fairy godmother, a few little tips and tricks from my magic wand and voila. Its like bringing a little sparkle to everyones life that sits in my chair. I feel BLESSED beyond words to have this as a profession and to be able to meet all the amazing people I have met; its been a true gift. I love seeing women falling love with themselves, to see their true treasure that they didnt know existed, until they see themselves in the mirror.

I always loved watching makeup artist worked, like Rick Baker in the Making of Thiller Video. I loved ripping out ads in magazines and trying on looks for a fun night out with my friends and prom. In 1999 at the age of 19, started training at the Makeup Designory school in Burbank, Ca. Upon graduation I dove in to the makeup industry head first taking anything I could find to continue to use my skills. Assisting Lead Artists and doing test shoots when ever I could, working with the makeup Industry Elite in film and photography.

As one of LAs most versatile Artists, I take pride that I can do the cover of Maxim and horror movie if I choose too. In 2004, I won the Avant Garde Beauty award at the International Makeup Artist Trade Show. In the same year I opened up Bridal Splendor Beauty, a boutique on location Hair and Makeup company that servicing weddings and special events. Because I love being able to work with people on their most important moments. It brings me such pride to see them look and feel their very best before walking down the aisle.
