A passion for photography started while modeling for some amazing photographers including Troy Plota and Walter Iooss. I found that I much preferred being behind the camera taking the pictures. A few generous photographers shared bits of their knowledge, even saying, “Here, take a roll!”

I clearly can’t decide on just one field of photography, but Portraiture is what I love. I capitalize on my unique perspectives on all sides of the camera, as a model, as a client and editor, and as the photographer. I know exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera. While photographing adults, I understand what it’s like to be shy or feel awkward at first. Many years of modeling gave me the experience to know what works, but also what looks and feels natural and how to bring out that inner supermodel. With training in ABA therapy, I specialize in photographing kids with autism and special needs as well as all typical children.

I’m a huge naturalist. I love natural light, your own style and sense of fashion, and I like going to your surroundings. Now I'm venturing onto ModelMayhem to get back to the world that started it all for me, fashion!
