I am the owner and principal photographer of EG:IMAGE photography and my name is Kevin Godfrey
 
Although my photographic studio has developed its business largely attracting commercial assignments in event and architectural photography, contributing to the challenging genre of art, glamor and fashion imagery remains a core of expression finding its way into galleries and publications.

You will see that my style is influenced by illustrative elements and compositing -  giving me an additional dramatic component to the imagery.

When I invite a model to work with me (either for my own portfolio or for work I have accepted from a client) then I pay appropriate fees (appropriate means recognizing content, capability and creativity). I consider the creative work involved in a photoshoot to be a business transaction that must recognize the contribution towards a successful outcome.

When I have planned and agreed a photoshoot with a model - I will, within 7 days of the shoot, require a confirmation of that shoot from the model. If this is not forthcoming then the shoot will be cancelled. I will also require a model release to be signed immediately before the shoot.

I encourage any model who is planning to work with me to get references from other models - as you should with any photographer/studio you do not know.

A note on escorts: That comment in the previous paragraph is very important - if you are a female model planning to work with a stranger, in what is usually a private environment, it makes lots of sense to 'do your homework' before you agree to a shoot.  If you are new to this business, network with other models to get their views on a particular photographer or studio (I list many models who have worked with me through this site) .
A frequent precaution taken by some models is to be accompanied by another person, and to make that a condition before a shoot can be agreed.  Please know that I do not allow non participants to attend a photoshoot - except in very exceptional circumstances.  It is my experience that a non participating person in the studio inhibits the model and is a distraction to me.  My studio is not tiny but it is full of equipment, props and 'stuff' with little space for other people.
So, no escorts.... but my reputation, for those who think they might need protection from me, can be checked and double checked.  In fact you should do this with anyone you don't know.  I would also recommend talking to long time professional models who can give great advice on what to do for your own safety.
