About Me

Hello. My name is Erika Bryn. Before you read further, I will not be in Grand Rapids until June 10. I'd love to hear from you before then, but please don't ask me what I am doing next week. Okay, read on.

I'm a body painter from the tri-state area. I began painting in the spring of 2011 and loved it. I originally spent my time being painted by Brady Neher. He eventually convinced me to try actually try painting. I did and I loved it.
While Brady was my initial inspiration, I have begun to develop a style that is more my own.
I love face painting, but body painting even more. I do mostly abstract things and don't do promotional painting (beer brands, etc.). I look at what I do as my passion, not just a way to make money. And yeah, about that, I can't pay my models and photographers unless I am making money off of the work as well. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.

I'm looking for people models who are willing to sit still for me for a few hours and photographers who can help bring out the best in my art. If you get a friend request from me, but no mail, I promise I tried but ran out of messages I could write for the day (Thanks, MM).

If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message! I swear I won't bite!

Models must be 18 or older please. Body painting doesn't equal nudity, but I prefer to not have to worry about any legalities as do photographers.

A note to models:
I'm an artist. That being said, I love men and women of every color, size, shape, and so on. There are a few things that make painting easier though. I love tattoos and piercings just as much as the next girl, but sometimes tattoos can be tricky to hide or incorporate. If you have tattoos, it's fine, but if they're small or few and far between, even better. I ask that if you just got a piercing, you wait to set something up with me. Our bodies are tough, but I would rather not paint on or around a newly done ring.
