As a young girl, Yanci was captivated by the hum of her mom’s sewing machine. Delighted by the little notions, ribbons & feathers that would be strewn around as her mother would sew and tailor dresses, tops, & the like. For Yanci, this was magic. She took the inspiration she had growing up and honed it into a life long passion. Studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology she took quickly to the intricacies & glamour of evening wear. Soon there after she studied couture dress making in Milan, Italy. Upon her return she found herself constructing custom gowns for some of NYC’s most discerning clients. Now, she has discovered the joy in designing dresses for one of a woman’s most important days. Incorporating some of the finest French & Italian silks & laces Yanci constructs gowns that pull classic elements forward in creating something that is truly timeless. Her passion & devotion continues unwavered and has been recognized by Italian Vogue. Her gowns will be featured in an upcoming editorial spread.
