I'm guessing that you're referring to the palm tree hair-do? If so, well she didn't do anything, the guy who did is was the hair stylist & MUA. He did most of it with popsicle sticks, pulling and wrapping her hair really tightly around the sticks, and a bunch of bobby pins, hair spray, etc. In December, I did a shoot with someone other than my wife, in which we didn't have anyone around to do hair & make up, so I did the hair. I used 2 empty rolls from toilet paper rolls, made 1 cut in them vertically, connected the 2 separate rolls with chopsticks inside, put the model's long hair thru the middle of the rolls, then used bondage tape to wrap the whole thing up tightly. Had a very similar feel, although a bit more fetish feeling, and without the need of a hair stylist. I like being innovative! ;)
