Ninety percent of the 'retouchers' who send me email advertising their services don't really do much other than run it through Portrait Professional on Auto. You are in that 10% of the ones who know what they are doing.

I'm appreciating all the little touches you did on this photo. From toning down her skin, the dress and other highlights that compete with the viewers attention to the cleaning up the wrinkles on the dress, straightening the image, cleaning up the lumenience of the dress, the leading edge of her hip/leg.

That's all stuff I'd do to an image like this too.

The only thing I'd think you might consider is darkening the light strand of hair that leads from under her left chin down to her shoulder and doing something about that plate or whatever it is that's on the wall behind her left shoulder that sort of unbalances things. Maybe even darken the whole row of plates on that bottom shelf to the levels of the items on the top shelf?

There are some other interesting things you could do with this shot to see if it works or not. You could change the green of the plants on the wall to match her dress. Change the color of the chairs. Get rid of, or tone down, the wrinkle on the dress by her right breast. I can't tell if that's a wrinkle on the backside of her right shoulder or the design of the dress. Smooth out the bottom hem of her dress on the back, even the challange of the wrinkels on the dress at the small of her back. Which I, myself, would be hard pressed to get it to look natural, if I could at all.

Well done!
