About Me

IRELAND: 25th January, to 3rd February - The Whole Island
Possible side trip to Glasgow, Scotland.

----> Peep my instagram for my most recent work as I'm tardy putting the new images in my port here! #busybusygirl
Otherwise my most recent work is in my "unassigned" album :]  <-------

I'm one of the "first generation" of professional roaming art models, formerly commercially represented in NYC + Lisbon, with a background in dance, theatre and classical music.  I call on my varied experience in the performance arts as my main inspiration to move and express through movement. . .

Available for hire in all artistic capacities in the NYC//Tri-State region. I also have a great apartment in Brooklyn, 2 blocks from the J train, if location is needed.

I like the fact that we can all be friends, but remember: You RESPECT your please keep that in mind when booking a shoot with me...

TO REACH ME, THE BEST METHOD IS: [email protected]

I like art. smile
In fact- I like art so much I attempt to make a living doing it.
I dance in front of the lens + steal moments from behind it.

I also paint nature in all her glory, as well as abstract expressionism.

In a recent past-life, I opened/ran a very successful studio, where I taught photography, in the Baltimore area.

As of 2019 I will continue to travel/tour & model on a part-time basis as allowed by the demands in my career outside of modeling. I'm currently in-between day-jobs, so I have a ton of time to shoot as I job hunt. I have formerly  [/b]

I love to be outdoors, I love conveying emotion, telling a story, becoming a character, playing with props, using wardrobe, am the fabric-in-the-wind-on-a-sand-dune champ. I love direct--hard-lighting in studios, sets I can play in, a location that inspires me to step back in time.

As bad-ass as I sound now- just remember I'm a sweet little kitton who's afraid of heights and stairs, is mid-diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, and had/has Lyme's Disease AND glass-to-the-bone-in-my-foot-with-shoes-on.
And that one time we all almost fell off a mountain....

Industry Standard, both for touring + local markets. Please request the link to my model-booking-info-sheet for specifics! smile

- My Hair is currently on the longer-side, with bangs

-My age is a mystery!  I list a younger age to appear in searches, as most photographers cap their searches at 30. hmm I "look" a range of late-20s/30s. So, for most shoots, my ambiguous aging (ha!) allows for a variety of ranges.
-I like to inspire people; it is what keeps me going when I'm freaking out about paying my bills and the like... [/b]

"Carly is not only a great model - flow poses well without direction - but is also a wealth of knowledge. She's very knowledgeable technically - with posing, lighting, framing, composition and camera settings. I would recommend her." Read less

"Put this "Texas Tornado" on your Bucket List. She is one amazing woman - creative to beat the band, hard working, dependable, witty. I've thoroughly enjoyed each of the half dozen shoots we collaborated on. So, if you're old and don't have a lot of time left, shoot with this lady quick. You'll regret it from heaven otherwise." "I recently worked with Carly. It was a very creative and fun shoot. She is a real artist. Very friendly, creative and poses beautifully. She is easy to talk to and someone whose company you will enjoy. Of course I got a number of unique shots because of her creativity. I absolutely want (have) to work with her again!" Read less

"There is no one quite like Carly. She's a force of nature. I think she was naked within 3 minutes of walking in my door without being asked - that's how ready and prepared and eager she is to work. The thing though - she's smart. Really smart. And she is willing to engage with you in constructing a vision for your work together. As she is incredibly versatile, that means the possibilities are almost limitless. You WILL create great art with her. If I were you I'd grab any opportunity to book her that I could." Read less
